Cybercentre rules

If you want to come to the cybercentre, you will have to sign to say that you agree to do certain things and not do others. The rules are listed below:

1. No eating or drinking at any computer.

2. The centre is for over 18s, unless supervised.

3. All children are to be accompanied, when attending on a Saturday. No more than one child per adult. Under 10s are not admitted.

4. No use of mobile ‘phones in classes.

5. No smoking in the building.

6. Consider and respect other users. We reserve the right to ask disruptive people to leave.

7. You accept your use of the Internet being monitored.

8. You accept that we hold your data - name, address etc on our system.

9. You will not view pornographic or offensive web sites.

10. If any equipment becomes faulty while you are using it you will inform centre staff immediately.

11. You will respect our neighbours and keep noise levels to a minimum.

12. You will log in using your correct ID and log out when your session has finished.

13. You will familiarise yourself with fire exits.

14. If attending classes, you will inform us if you are unable to attend.

15. We take no responsibility for any valuables you bring with you.

16. This is your centre - please treat the centre, its users and the equipment with respect.
