Many of these courses are run by Lewisham College Tutors.

Drop in. There will be times when signed up users and members who have been on a starter session can drop in just to surf the net, do some work on a computer or use their e-mail.

Peer support sessions. If you've been on a course with us and want to bring in a friend or two and help them use the net - you can come along at certain 'drop in' times.

Brush up your computer skills. If you started to use computers at work or at school and need to brush up your skills – there will be suitable courses for you. We'll wait and see what the demand is.

Homework Clubs. Although the centre is officially for adults, young people can come along with a leader for homework clubs and use the computers. Another way for young people to access the centre is to 'earn' your entry. You can do this by coming along as a helper on adult courses. You can also help adults sign up with e-mail. The more you sign up - the more hours of computers or internet use you earn. Ask for our 'Silwood Cybercentre & Young People' pamphlet.

Special interest sessions. If your group (could be a nursery or older people's group) wants to book a private session - you just need to contact us and arrange it. We will try and be as flexible as possible. We can accommodate up to 10 people each with access to their own computer.

If you're a small business and you want to have some computer training for a few staff - we may be able to help you too, although there would be a charge for this. Contact Sonia on 0207 394 0923.

Fun sessions. For those with interests in say pop music, football, healthy living, family history, other countries, or even hobbies like darts or bowling we can help you find sites on the internet that match your interests. You could also use the net for shopping and holiday searches. We will always try and help set up special sessions like these. Just contact us and ask.
