Ray runs the local labour scheme for local people to help them into jobs and training with local employers, and where businesses can register job opportunities. The local labour scheme is free to local people and businesses.

The local labour scheme links into the demolitions and rebuilding of the Silwood estate and a number of other large developments. Most jobs at the moment are related to building trade work so we will have lots of opportunities for trades people, plant drivers, and labourers. As the scheme develops we will be extending our jobs range into many other areas of business. Employability and Training Funds:

Ray also has access to Employability and Training Funds to help people into jobs. This can be used for a wide range of applications, such as training and supporting employment.
